Futurama's Take on Science
In 1999, the creators of Futurama understood science better than most
Futurama is an Animated Science Fiction Comedy show that started in 1999. The creators of the show also created The Simpsons. The show originally aired on Fox but was cancelled and later picked up by Comedy Central.
Back in 1999, I was 19 years old and was in my first year as an University Engineering student. I had many ideas of what University life was going to be like. I thought most people who attended University would be brilliant, have intense desire to learn, and speak with a higher level of vocabulary. My assumptions were incorrect and looking back, were representative of most people in society.
Society tends to elevate people with high levels of education especially in the ‘sciences’. However, if you understand the university system, you will know that these people deserve no such status. Undergraduate studies is just an extension of the factory school system where more information is rammed into the student. To do well in Undergrad is to simply memorise the expensive text books that you must buy for each class (where the authors are generally either University Professors at the school you are attending or University Professors from other schools). If you know how the testing works, you can score well.
Engineering courses tend to provide practical information that can be used to actually do engineering. My university Clemson University holds ABET accreditation that is an assurance that Engineering Students meet standard criteria. Standards are important in Engineering especially when critical systems are being designed. There is a big question of how these standards are developed usually circling back to the University system.
Engineering is basically built on trial and error and leaning on the history of such from others gone before. There is no magic or romance, only logic and hard work. Engineers are not dreamers with heads stuck in the clouds. We are practical who know how to make things work. Engineers are really no different than builders, farmers, and electricians when it comes to ingenuity and making things work. Engineers are just more specialised then the other professions listed but I think we all share a common mindset.
Science Prejudice
In 2002, I continued on with my Master’s education. In the United States and at Clemson University, the Master’s program was a minimum of 2 years of course work with either a semester of doing project work or doing a master’s thesis. This is different to master’s programs for instance in New Zealand where only 1 year is required of extra classes. The masters program at Clemson was essentially a PHD lite providing a taste of obtaining a doctorate.
I enjoyed my 3 years as a Graduate student as I was finally able to apply what I learned, expand my understanding of the field of computer engineering, and put in the work of creating my thesis. I also understood that academic life was not for me where I had some friends who took as long as 7 years to attain their PHD.
During my graduate years, we had an underlying notion that science students and scientists in general didn’t do anything nor contributed to the well being of society. As engineers, we are vital in the process of making things for society. Our work is within the realm of reality. Main Stream science even back in the 2000’s was intangible, always theorising about black holes or ‘quantum strings’.
As engineers, we didn’t hold much academic respect for scientists.
Watching Futurama
I have introduced Futurama to my 12 year old twin boys. As we are watching the episodes, I started picking up on clues that the creators hid in plain sight. In 1999, I was still a main stream believer of science, religion, and government. I took the information as simply a funny science fiction show and didn’t think about things much at all. But now, I see things in a much different capacity especially since the 2020 government crimes against humanity.
My children are home educated with my partner having a diploma in Montessori Education. We have a great home education group that meets 3 times a week so my boys have a completely different way of learning than I did. Because of this, my boys have a much better understanding of the world around them; they don’t easily believe anyone nor do they even have the crushing pressure of authority (other than the demands from my partner and I).
Global Warming
When watching the 8th episode, my boys said
“stop the video, did you hear that?”
We re-winded and watched again. My boys are informed of the unscientific claims about Climate Change, Global Warming, Global Cooling or whatever the hacks call it these days. It was interesting that in 1999, the creators were telling us that Global Warming was fraud.
Here is a short clip I made highlighting this from the episode.

Genetic Engineering
We came across another gem from Season 2, Episode 2 that pointed out that genetic engineering is scientific fraud. Again, my boys shouted out THEY KNEW. mRNA is 100% a hoax and Futurama was telling us back then. Unfortunately, many people in the ‘truth community’ have fallen for the genetic engineering scam calling themselves ‘pure bloods’ and worry about ‘shedding’.

I attended a freedom gathering in 2021 here in New Zealand. It was a course that was to train us how to deal with the police and government regarding being a living man. The information they provided looked suspect and was very unorganized. From one test I had with police, the information they provided simply did not work.
The leaders of this session were against vaccinations but claimed there was shedding and the need to create segregated systems from vaccinated people. I was disgusted. I stood up and informed everyone that shedding was unscientific and that the government was discriminating against us; how could we possibly discriminate against those that have been poisoned? But most people in the room simply could not accept this truth and continued to believe in the shedding nonsense.
Being a Scientist
Tonight the boys and I viewed another interesting perspective from the creators of Futurama. This time they were announcing that scientist in general were frauds no different than wizards of old. I agree with this idea and 2020 has shown that to be true.
I used to work at Landcare Research which is an alleged science based company that focuses on New Zealand Soil. I guess I had a little bit of faith in them as the science is generally based on soil core samples used to detect soil composition and soil physics. Satellites are also used for tracking various measurements. I never investigated too deeply into the output from the scientists; my job was to support the computer system infrastructure. I also wondered about the satellite information and its reliability.
I have a future article that describes my COVID journey with Landcare Research so stay tuned. Briefly, the organisation as a whole simply did not care about science telling me they just have to follow the Ministry of health. They even believed that providing links to the WHO web site was ‘scientific evidence’

Conclusion
I will try to keep up my short video series on Futurama. When we come across interesting revelations, I will be sure to post them on my Odysee channel so please like and subscribe over there.

What do you think about scientist in general? Am I being to harsh and too biased due to my engineering mindset? Or are the vast majority of Scientist useless story tellers pushing fraud on society making people believe in the impossible?
Love it! Your life sounds like a copy past of mine (almost to the smallest detail) but I do believe you are a bit older than me you old fart. LOL!
Utmost respect for your wife, this takes a lot of discipline. Keep it up man. There is no better way to kick the system in the teeth than to do what you and your family are doing.
I have been wrestling with this idea of how the others affect me in close contact intimate situations.
I have found many ‘antidotes’ and I always suggest to those who opted for uniformed poison to take these things but I don’t push anyone. I just keep researching through trial and error on myself.
I have found most corrections when my eyes start getting hot and itchy, I get digestive burning, etc etc. EMF is a big component. Faraday clothes can help. Ionic colloidal silver, sodium borate are very important I believe.
I flew between states and continued in person bodywork all of 2020 and 2021 until now minus 1 or 2 months. I would not stop interacting with humanity in person, but I am a sensitive person and the poisons are everywhere now plus exacerbated through others. I believe we all need to keep strengthening ourselves and keep up the clear intuition and compassion most of all.
I am amazed at what and how I see television now. I love this series you are doing. South Park has also always been very awesome. And Simpson’s of course.
The Jason Bourne movie with Jeremy rennet is a fascinating movie to watch in hindsight
